Privacy statement
Effective 8 September 2026. This statement covers the booking site, client account and galleries at book.belgards.studio.
Who holds your information
Belgards Pty Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through this site and handles it in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number.
- Your booking details: the session, date and time, any upgrades, and the people named on a transfer invitation.
- The photographs taken at your session and your selections from them.
- Records of the terms you accepted, the login codes sent to you, emails sent to you and their delivery status, and technical logs used to keep the service secure.
Payment card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page and are never received or stored by the studio.
Why we use it
- To take and manage your booking, send confirmations, reminders and login codes, and let you move or transfer a booking.
- To photograph your session, deliver your gallery and your chosen portraits, and answer your questions.
- To keep accurate financial records and to protect the service against misuse.
We send marketing email only if you opted in when booking, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from your account.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase, which hosts the booking database, login service and photograph storage in Sydney, Australia.
- Stripe, which processes payments and issues receipts.
- Resend, which delivers our email.
Each provider acts on our instructions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share photographs of clients publicly without separate written consent.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Australian tax and accounting law requires. Photographs and galleries are kept for as long as needed to deliver your session; when the studio sets a retention schedule it will be published here.
Your choices
You can view and update your details, and download the portraits you are entitled to, from your account. To access, correct or ask about your information, contact the studio at bookings@belgards.studio.
