Studio hire terms

Version hire-v1, effective 20 October 2026. These terms apply to cyclorama hire from Belgards Pty Ltd. They govern your hire booking; photography-session terms do not replace them.

Your booking and price

The person booking must be at least 18 and responsible for their crew and guests. Hire includes the white cyclorama and installed lighting. Supply your own photographer, cameras and crew; photography, editing and delivered images are not included.

Total prices are AUD $298 for two hours, $499 for four hours and $899 for eight hours, including any applicable taxes. Full payment through secure checkout confirms the reservation after payment is verified. No bond, card surcharge or automatic damage charge is collected by this booking system.

Dates, access and time

Hire begins 11 January 2027 and is available only within 7:00 am–5:00 pm Australia/Brisbane time, subject to the calendar. Hire is unavailable from 1 November through 24 December each year. Setup, shooting, cleaning and pack-down all fit within your reserved time. Early access and extensions are not included. Late arrival does not move the finish time.

Follow the access instructions in your confirmation. An extension requires studio approval, availability and an agreed price before extra time is used. It cannot run beyond 5:00 pm or displace another booking.

Moving, transferring or cancelling

You may move to another available time for the same hire duration without a change fee up to 24 hours before the start, through your account. Transfers use the account invitation process and must be accepted before the booking starts. The recipient must accept these hire terms. Neither action permits a date or time outside the hire calendar.

For cancellation, contact the studio through the details in your confirmation. Change-of-mind cancellation or a missed booking may incur only reasonable, unrecoverable loss caused by the cancellation, capped at the hire price. We will account for costs saved and any replacement booking and refund the balance. There is no additional fixed cancellation penalty. Statutory refund rights always apply.

Safe use and cyclorama care

Use the space for lawful photography or filming and follow reasonable safety instructions. Discuss unusual productions, animals, large groups or activities beyond ordinary photography before booking so suitability can be checked. Supervise children. Keep exits clear, control noise and use safe electrical equipment. Smoking, vaping, flames, hazardous materials and illegal activities are prohibited. Confetti, glitter, liquids, paint and smoke effects require prior written permission.

Never stand on, lean equipment against or load the curved cyclorama walls. Keep footwear and equipment bases clean, protect the floor and lift furniture rather than dragging it. Do not modify lighting or fixtures. Report existing damage before use and new damage promptly.

Cleaning, damage and insurance

Return equipment to its original position, remove belongings and rubbish, and leave the space reasonably clean. Ordinary wear is included. You are responsible for reasonable, evidenced repair or extra cleaning costs to the extent caused by your or your guests’ negligence, misuse or breach of these terms. You are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage caused by Belgards. We will provide evidence for any claim and allow you to respond; it is not an automatic card debit.

Consider appropriate public liability, equipment and professional insurance for your production. Your hire fee does not purchase insurance for you or your crew. No particular insurance limit is represented as included or compulsory by this online offer.

If we cannot provide the hire

If Belgards cancels or cannot supply the booked space, you may choose an available replacement or a refund for the hire not supplied. Unsafe or unlawful activity may be stopped; any refund will be assessed fairly under these terms and the law. We do not exclude liability for our own failure to use due care and skill.

Your legal rights

Nothing here limits rights or remedies under Australian Consumer Law or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Queensland law applies without restricting mandatory consumer protections. The terms and price accepted at checkout apply to your booking; later changes do not retrospectively change it.
